Kira is the oldest of 3 siblings that train with us. They moved from Carlisle trampoline club a year and a half ago; and moved house to Liverpool a few months ago; meaning for a year they were regularly making a 5 hour round trip for training! Hear what Max has to say about his GB selection… Congratulations: “Thanks Queen” You’re a veteran of the team now, how long have you been on squad for?: “My first time on GB squad was in 2020, and I got to go to my first world age competition in Baku 2021 which was a great experience. This is my second time being selected for GB Senior development.” Is it still a big deal or is it normal to you now?: “It’s still really exciting being selected. One thing that’s nice about being on the team for multiple years is getting to see and train with new gymnasts coming through.” What does this mean to you?: “The fact I’ve been selected for another year tells me I’m doing a good job” What are you most excited to experience?: “I’m interested to see the dynamic now that they are bringing back set routines in 17-21 and changing the code for difficulty, and to see how that affects competition.
